me: pluto is a planet?
me: PLUTO IS A PLANET?!
me: *SCREECHES* PLUTO IS A PLANET!
me: *runs down the street at 3am* PLUTO IS A PLANET!
me: *raises the dead* PLUTO IS A PLANET!
MY parents were arguing in the kitchen so I went downstairs to see what was going on but all I got is my mom saying over and over again “You cant buy pluto!” and my dad ranting “who’s gonna fuckin stop me??”
Notice how all of humanity has just gone downhill since they declared that Pluto was not a planet anymore
*gets absolutely nothing done* well time for a break
It’s not a phase mom I really am the next supreme

This scene is SO important. Maleficent is with someone she trusts, someone she considers a friend. And then the next thing she knows, she wakes up in pain, bleeding, with her wings burned off. A huge part of her has been destroyed.
Rape is so prominent in our culture that it is in a Disney movie. Maybe not explicitly, but it is very clear what this scene represents and it is so sad.
I fucking cried my eyes out during this scene
AJ even confirmed that this is what this scene was a metaphor for (x) - just because i saw someone say today that this is not what this scene is about
'We were very conscious that it was a metaphor for rape': The actress explained how the scene in which her character has her wings ripped off her body while in a drug-induced sleep had to be something 'so violent and aggressive' that it would make her 'lose all sense of her maternity, her womanhood and her softness'
when a man violates a woman, he cuts off her wings.
*When anyone violates anyone they cut of their wings
“Agree to disagree” is white guy speak for “I understand you have an opinion but unfortunately, me.”
No it’s human being speak for “We have differing opinions and I can see that neither of us are going to persuade…
Except not everyone uses the phrase “agree to disagree” for social issues so I’m still not sure how it is white guy speak for anything. And when it comes to women social issues do you really think only white males are the problem? Alll males from all other races are perfectly respectful?
